I thought this would be a cozy-type mystery, but it was way too violent and graphic to claim that category. The protagonist Piricnci has just moved into the neighborhood with his human. A murder mystery with cats???

Please help improve it by removing unnecessary details and making it more concise. The novel ends with Francis urging the reader to never cease believing in a world where all animals and humans coexist, including those “more sublime and intelligent than the latter–for example, Felidae.
