This innovative platform uses an on-the-fly upgrade method, whereby network operators only buy capacity as needed, benefiting from savings on initial investments and OPEX. Traffic capacity throughput and spectral efficiency are optimized with the desired channel bandwidth. High spectral efficiency is ensured using the same bandwidth for double the capacity, via two carriers, with vertical and horizontal polarizations.

This feature is implemented by a built-in XPIC mechanism. RFU-C works together with two types of indoor units. This enables double capacity in the same spectrum bandwidth.

If needed, change the antenna polarization by rotating the RFU-C in accordance with the relevant antenna installation guide.

Remove the sticker from the RFU-C antenna interface.

Mount the RFU-C on the antenna according to the system configuration, and make sure that the twist is set for mabual desired polarization horizontal or vertical. Insert four screws and washers provided with the kit, and tighten them.

If needed, change the antenna polarization according to the cerayon antenna installation guide. Spread grease on the two O-rings supplied with the kit and place them in their locations. Mount the twist on the coupler according to the relevant antenna polarization as shown in the illustrations belowusing four screws and washers supplied with the kit.

Place the O-ring on the antenna transition. Mount the coupler holder on the antenna using the screws and cerwgon supplied with the kit. Spread grease on the Cerago supplied with the holder coupler kit. Place one O-ring on each side of the coupler.

Remove the sticker from both RFU-C antenna interfaces. Mount both RFU-Cs on the holder coupler. For each RFU-C, insert four screws and washers, and tighten them, as shown in the following illustration. Mount the Ceragon remote mount device on the pole, as shown in the following illustration.

Insert four screws and washers, and tighten them. Spread grease on the O-ring supplied with the flexible waveguide. Place the O-ring in the flexible waveguide flange groove. Place majual O-ring in the other end of the flexible waveguide flange groove. Mount the flexible waveguide on the antenna, and tighten the screws and washers. Mount the Ceragon remote mount device on the pole.

Mount the coupler holder on the Xeragon remote mount device using the screws and washers supplied with the kit. Spread grease on the O-rings supplied with the coupler holder kit. Mount both RFU-Cs on the coupler holder. For each RFU-C, insert four screws and washers, and tighten them. Mount the flexible waveguide on the Mwnual coupler, and tighten the screws and washers.
