Just make sure that the script being used is (an update of Scott Zanelli’s original script) and this is available from. I like Scott Zanelli’s script: InDesignSecrets» Blog Archive» Zanelli Releases MultiPageImporter for Importing both PDF and INDD Files. I’ve used another multipage pdf script by scott zanelli, too. None of them work. pages are placed outside the document. I also want to place one pdf file in one.

Now it’s a bit of a wired document which is in a mixture of page sizes, some landscape and some portrait so it’s a bit of a mess.
Now I’m going to use Indesign to make sure everything is within our margins and the right size so, I need to insert the document. I’ve done this before with smaller documents by duplicating the pages, then relinking to the PDF and using “Show Import Options”, then typing in each page number zanellli the other. OK, change the crop option to Bounding Box and try again.

Odd that there is no Media crop type. If Bounding Box also fails Indesignscerets suspect you won’t find a crop option that is defined for all pages and you won’t be able to use a script. Turns out it was just a single page causing the problem, not sure what it was exactly but editing and re-saving it that one page in Photoshop seems to have worked!
